Shakib Al Hasan played in the 5th IPL for KKR

IPL Auction 2011 has created  excitement, joy and lots of surprise to the cricket loving people. One of them is of Shakib Al Hasan, the captain of Bangladesh Cricket team and then No-1 all-rounder in  ICC cricket ranking,  who will play for Kolkata Knight Riders for the next three years.

Kolkata Knight Riders got Shakib Al Hasan at the cost of $425,000.

In an Auction at Bangalore, lots of bids were done for Shakib Al Hasan but finally Kolkata Knight Riders successfully won the bid at $425,000. Bangladeshi captain Shakib Al Hasan will play the role of All rounder (left hand spinner and batsman) in Kolkata Knight Riders.

Earlier, Shakib Al Hasan was up for sale at base price of $200,000 but went up due to bids from other franchise teams of Indian Premier League at auction held in Bangalore.

But at last, Shakib Al Hasan will play for Shahrukh's KKR for upcoming IPL 2011.----------
